About Swimming Gala

The Swimming Gala application has been created to assist voluntary organisations, who work with disabled swimmers, to manage their competions easily and securely.

Each organisation has its own discrete dataset including registered administrator(s) and other users. Each club manages its own users and data; only the final results are public.

The competitors within races are automatically given staggered start times, depending on thier original qualifying time. The object of each race is therefore to come as close to the qualifying time as possible (+/-) and those with the smallest difference are therefore ranked higher. This is to compensate for different levels of ability which each swimmer may have.

Any organisation wishing to join should make initial contact via the email form, providing details of the organisation, website if there is one, and the club owner.
